We began hunting with Fin & Feather in 1997. James and his staff have always been more than willing to cater to our every need, whether it is cleaning the kill, throwing skeet or even taking us on a party barge ride on the Arkansas River. One of our favorite parts of Fin & Feather has to be the meals. After hunting, you can always count on a huge breakfast being served. Then it's time to relax by a fire to catch up on your rest from shooting your limit of birds. If one enjoys fishing, there are plenty of nice places around the lodge to catch a few fish. Over the years, Fin & Feather has become more than a duck lodge; it has become a place that we can call home. We have guests come in that are not hunters or fishermen just to relax and enjoy the lodge and view. It's a very enjoyable experience filled with good fun, good food, and most importantly, great friends.

When I want to get away from the hectic business world, I go to Fin and Feather Lodge to relax and enjoy a good hunt. Whether I come with a group of 5 or 15 for a weekend or a week, it is always well worth the trip from Texas. The facilities are excellent with the comfortable beds, spacious living areas and the best home-cooked food. Everything is always clean and the service is first-class. It honestly feels like home away from home.

I have had the pleasure of hunting Fin & Feather for over 5 years now. Every time I go, I experience first class treatment and comradery. On my first trip, I wanted to shoot a pile of ducks; however I realized on the first morning how much more of an experience Fin & Feather offers than just a harvest. Fin & Feather's exclusive access to some of the best holes in Arkansas makes it truly impossible to have an unsuccessful hunt. If ducks are in the air, they are working to James or Jeremy's call. I don't know how to blow a duck call, nor do I need to. I just drink coffee and shoot.
